Use “Just Network Clipboard” to quick and easy send and share clipboard content across network. No matter what’s your business or occupation, even if you’re a modern Home User with a small network, share texts, images and data with just one click !
Just Network Clipboard (JNC) program allows to send copied data over network. It can operate in 3 modes:
- Manual send
- Automated send of just copied data
- Automated broadcast (to all computers which has running JNC) of just copied data.
To allow it work you have to configure Firewalls so they won’t block UDP broadcast on 43215 port which is default, but one can be changed into “JNCSettings.ini” file by manual editing (for the Windows build).
JNC can save just copied image
- added new feature to make Print Screens faster – right click on icon in tray and select “Save as PNG…” – your current image from clipboard will be saved to file on disk.
The using is simple as 1-2-3:
- Install and run JNC software on each machine you want to work with. Linux users should extract binary from ZIP and set chmod 755 for it manually.
- Configure firewalls so they will not block data if needed.
- Select installed network adapter, so JNC will start listen broadcast signals on it coming from other copies of the software. Now you’re ready to have incoming data.
- If you want to send data, select one of the working modes. If you selected “broadcast mode”, just copy any data on your local machine and it will be send into network.
- If you selected “single IP” mode then select avail IP (if any), ones are detected automatically.
- Copy your data and possibly confirm sending by button click (if manual mode is selected).
Windows<–>Linux
Unlike other similar programs JNC allows to transfer data between Windows and Linux. It supports text and images sending. To be sure it will work you should follow next:
- Plain text is preffered, however MS Word gets formatted text from Open Office.
- Linux paint program should work with images as BMP or PNG, most of them do.
- Any MIME types are supported and not modified but most Windows programs will not accept it from clipboard.

25-Jan-2012 Updated Linux binary to match Windows.
11-Jan-2012 Windows version was extended by right-click option to disable of incoming confirmation. Newer Qt is included.
08-Jan-2011 Windows version was updated to fix bug with Windows 7. Due bug it was showing 0.0.0.0 only in intrface’s list.
22-Feb-2011 Windows version was updated. Now it can save to file images from clibpoard by single mouse click. It is usefull with PrintScreen button.
